About SWIM
Over previous seven years, SWIM Ministries have dug 13 underground wells with pumps in areas such as Indian reservations, Mongolia and Paraguay, and have conducted 15 sessions of community health education in Haiti, Monoglia, Myanmar and Peru. In addition, we have constructed community toilets in villages of Mongolia, Mexico, Peru, Haiti, and Myanmar, and we started water purifier development training in June 2006, providing them in Cambodia, China, Haiti, Indonesia, Honduras, Mexico, Mongolia, Myanmar, and Peru.
As a result of our ministry, some churches which were banned from the local authorities were able to open their doors again, and they were able to register with the local government. Also, the missionaries there were able to resolve their visa issues, and the locals began to look favorably upon the church in the field.
Though our short term missionaries were not able to shout out "Jesus Christ is Lord," we were able to share the love of Christ through our various ministries, and it also brought great fruits to the local churches and the residents there, as well as the government authorities.
We want to invite you to participate in this amazing ministry together with us.
"Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”"
Matthew 9:37-38 (ESV)
Our Mission
To deliver the Gospel by serving and developing the local communities in the name of Jesus Christ.
Ministry Strategies
1. To help birth a church in unreached region through ministry of SWIM
2. To develop clean water systems at already existing missionary bases
3. To provide education and tools for the natives so they can develop their own local water systems
